The Ice-O-Matic ICE0520 Cube Ice Maker reflects Ice-O-Matic's dedication to packing a big punch in a compact size. The ICE0520 is only 22 inches wide, and yet produces up to 506 pounds of ice per day! This is a perfect solution for a business with limited space, but a large customer base. Other commercial ice machines that produce this much ice may be up to 33 percent larger!
Ice-O-Matic wants to make sure your ice is clean, and your ICE0520 lasts a lifetime. To ensure this, they construct all their ice machines out of corrosion resistant stainless steel, and placed electroless nickel plating on all evaporator plates for even tougher rust control. Pure Ice technology means built-in antimicrobial protection, so you won't be getting mold or bacteria build-up, which has a negative impact on the taste and smell of the ice, as well as the longevity of the ICE0520.
On top of all these great features, the ICE0520 also saves you energy costs with a process called Harvest Assist. When a batch of ice is fully formed, other ice makers just let gravity do the job of letting the finished cubes fall into the bin, but Harvest Assist technology means the ICE0520 doesn't wait; instead, it pushes the finished ice cubes off the form the second they're finished, and immediately starts on the next batch. That means more ice in less time, so you're not paying for your ice maker to sit around in between batches.
